Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business needs and translate them into detailed requirements for IT development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and project managers, to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
  • Develop functional specifications and ensure they are clearly communicated to development teams.
  • Perform data analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), use cases, user stories, and process flows.
  • Support testing efforts by developing test cases, performing user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensuring the quality of delivered solutions.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within the financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, including requirements gathering, process modeling, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.


Location: Lagos State.


Employment Type: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
