Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Lead the development of proposals and business development strategies to secure new projects and partnerships.
- Engage with potential clients, conduct meetings, and manage relationships to expand NerdzFactory’s client base.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with NerdzFactory’s mission and goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor service offerings to client needs and market demands.
- Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to review project progress and explore opportunities for additional collaboration.
- Program Oversight:
- Provide leadership and oversight for the successful implementation of all programs and projects.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Work closely with program managers to track progress, address challenges, and report outcomes to senior management.
- Operations Management:
- Oversee the teams responsible for day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Work closely with senior management to develop and implement organizational strategies, ensuring alignment with the organization’s long-term goals.
- Drive organizational growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities for program expansion, partnerships, and funding.
- Supervise vendor relationships, procurement processes, and contract negotiations to ensure the best value for the organization.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, Social Sciences, Project Management, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of progressive experience in business development, programs management, and operations within the development sector
- Experience in developing successful proposals for diverse clients, including government agencies, NGOs, and private sector organizations.
- Proven track record of overseeing complex projects from inception to completion
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and digital tools for managing business development activities.
- Residence in Lagos and willingness to travel locally.
