Role Overview:
The Business Development Consultant will be responsible for driving business growth, leading product launches, managing marketing strategies, and expanding the company's presence in the luxury bedding industry. This role requires a dynamic consultant with a strong background in luxury goods, experience in strategic marketing, and a passion for high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute business strategies to achieve growth targets.
- Identify market opportunities and recommend expansions of product offerings.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key partners, distributors, and clients.
- Monitor industry trends and suggest adjustments to strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
2.Product Launch and Marketing
- Oversee all aspects of product launch initiatives, providing guidance from planning to execution.
- Develop marketing campaigns that highlight the luxury and quality of the brand's products.
- Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure products meet market expectations.
- Advise on pricing strategies that reflect the premium nature of the products.
3.Digital and Social Media Strategy
- Design and execute social media strategies to build brand awareness and engage with target audiences.
- Optimize online presence across various digital platforms to drive traffic and sales.
- Analyze social media trends and competitors’ strategies to enhance brand positioning.
4.Sales and Revenue Management
- Drive sales growth through innovative strategies and customer engagement initiatives.
- Set revenue targets and ensure alignment of all sales activities with achieving those targets.
- Develop recommendations for customer retention programs to increase brand loyalty.
5. Team Leadership and Development
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the sales, marketing, and operational teams to achieve business objectives.
- Foster a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
- Conduct performance assessments and provide constructive feedback for team development.
6.Financial Planning and Budget Management
- Advise on budgeting, financial forecasting, and expense management activities.
- Ensure business activities are conducted within budgetary constraints.
- Monitor key financial metrics and recommend adjustments to optimize profitability.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (BSc required); Master's Degree (MSc) or professional qualifications will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a senior role within the luxury goods industry, preferably in bedding, home decor, or related sectors.
- Proven track record in successfully launching products and executing marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media strategies.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup, with flexibility to travel as needed.
