Job Scope:
The Business Development Executive at PMSEC International plays a crucial role in expanding the company’s client base and fostering partnerships within the construction, oil & gas, and marine sectors. This role involves identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and developing strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.
Reports To:
Business Development Manager
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction, oil & gas, and marine sectors.
Conduct comprehensive market research to understand industry trends, client needs, and the competitive landscape in the construction and related industries.
Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve revenue targets and strengthen the company's market presence.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions that align with PMSEC’s capabilities.
Collaborate with technical and project teams to create compelling proposals, pricing strategies, and service offerings.
Lead client negotiations, including contracts, pricing, and service agreements, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Coordinate internally to ensure the successful and timely delivery of projects and services.
Prepare and present proposals, reports, and presentations that effectively communicate PMSEC's value proposition.
Stay updated on industry regulations, market developments, and emerging trends within construction, oil & gas, and marine sectors to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
Represent PMSEC at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company's services, generate leads, and expand its network.
Desired Skills:
Demonstrated success in business development or sales within the construction sector, with experience in oil & gas and marine industries as a plus.
Strong industry knowledge, particularly within the construction sector.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to identify opportunities and develop effective business strategies.
Results-driven with a focus on meeting targets and driving company growth.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively within a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the construction sector, with exposure to the oil & gas and marine industries preferred.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Salary:
N200,000 and above – based on experience.
