Job Description
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, and services.
- Prepare and present business proposals, pitches, and reports to potential clients and partners.
- Lead the sales team in identifying and acquiring new clients while maintaining relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies, including digital marketing, social media, content marketing, and traditional marketing channels, to promote the company’s services.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and development.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with real estate agents, property owners, travel agencies, and other stakeholders to expand the company’s property portfolio and client base.
- Negotiate and close business deals that align with the company's objectives.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Actively seek feedback from clients to improve service offerings and address any concerns.
- Work closely with the marketing team to enhance brand awareness and positioning in the market.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and trade shows to promote the brand and generate new leads.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, providing regular reports on progress and suggesting improvements where necessary.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification is an advantage.
- 5 years experience in business development, sales, marketing, or a related field, preferably in the hospitality, real estate, or shortlet industry.
- Strong understanding of the shortlet market in Nigeria and its dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM software and digital marketing tools.
