We are a fast-paced AI startup building legal AI to help lawyers draft and review contracts more efficiently, directly in Microsoft Word. Our customers include law firms and in-house legal teams. We are looking for Business Development Managers to join our team.
About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will focus on expanding our client base and establishing new relationships. This role is ideal for a lawyer who enjoys identifying opportunities and working directly with potential clients to solve their needs.
What You Will Do
- Create and prioritize target account lists based on defined territories.
- Research potential clients, add key contacts, and execute outreach efforts.
- Lead conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts.
- Present sales pitches and reports to demonstrate our product’s value.
- Collect and track sales intelligence, organizing information in our CRM.
- Collaborate with other teams to suggest product improvements and modifications.
- Attend industry events and client meetings as necessary.
What You Have
- At least 3 years of experience in a business development role, preferably in B2B SaaS, or startup environments.
- Strong communication skills and experience engaging with senior executives.
- Proactive and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- An interest in legal technology and helping companies improve their contract processes.
- Good to have - legal background
