Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled and motivated LMS Administrator to manage and support our Learning Management System (LMS). This role is integral to ensuring our e-learning platform is efficient, user-friendly, and optimized for a seamless learning experience.
- The LMS Administrator will work with internal teams to develop and maintain online training courses, support users, and troubleshoot any technical issues within the LMS.
- Develop content for courses to be taken on the learning management system in a way that is going to be adaptive for several students to learn.
- Develop the database of courses and students.
- Monitor the students that have registered on the portal and follow up with them in order to make full payment for the courses they are interested in.
- Respond to any question from users.
- Get feedback from students that are taking courses or that have taken course(s) from the portal.
- Update the portal to suit users.
- Update the portal to latest technologies.
- Market the portal.
- Track and report on all site metrics such as user demographics, traffic flow and search engine placement.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field with 3 years experience.
- Proven experience as an LMS Administrator or similar role.
- Proficiency in LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas) and e-learning standards (e.g., SCORM, xAPI).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
