The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients and partners, and working with the sales and marketing teams to create strategies for increasing revenue. The ideal candidate is preferably female and should have a proven track record in business

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify new potential clients and market opportunities.
  • Develop strategies to approach new business verticals or geographic markets.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify areas of growth.
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Attend industry events, networking functions, and meetings to build connections.
  • Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to develop and implement business development strategies.
  • Create proposals, presentations, and business plans tailored to specific client needs.
  • Analyze market conditions and customer feedback to improve business development strategies.
  • Drive the sales process, from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable business deals.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Conduct market research to understand client needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Provide insights to the team on market dynamics and customer behavior.
  • Regularly report on business development activities, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure alignment in business development efforts.
  • Coordinate with other departments for product development, service delivery, and client support.
  • Oversee the successful implementation of new business projects.
  • Monitor project progress and address client needs and expectations.
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand market dynamics and develop strategic business plans.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and closing deals.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly organized.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Preferably female
