Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive market penetration, partnerships, and sales growth for our electric motorcycles and tricycles. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Nigerian transportation sector, proven experience in business development, and a passion for sustainable mobility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for electric motorcycles and tricycles.
• Identify and establish partnerships with key stakeholders, including fleet operators, ride-hailing companies, financial institutions, and government agencies.
• Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding the customer base.
• Lead negotiations and structure financing models to make electric vehicles accessible to customers.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor strategies, and industry trends.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns that drive adoption of electric vehicles.
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure customer feedback informs product development.
• Monitor and report on sales performance, market developments, and emerging opportunities.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, preferably in e-mobility, renewable energy, automotive, or related industries.
• Strong network within Nigeria’s transportation and mobility sector.
• Experience in structuring financing or lease-to-own models for vehicle acquisition is an advantage.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving industry and drive innovative business models.
