Our Client, a leading electrical engineering company in Lagos, specializing in power systems, industrial automation, and electrical infrastructure projects, is recruiting to fill the position of a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding our market presence, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients in the electrical engineering sector.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of business development strategies to achieve revenue growth targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the power, industrial, and infrastructure sectors
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations, including government agencies, industrial companies, and construction firms
- Develop compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics in the Nigerian electrical engineering sector
- Collaborate with technical teams to understand project requirements and ensure client solutions meet technical specifications
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
- Manage and grow existing client relationships while developing new business partnerships
- Work closely with project teams to ensure successful delivery of secured projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in business development within the electrical engineering or related technical industry
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and current industry trends
- Proven track record of successful business development and client relationship management
- Excellent knowledge of the Nigerian power sector and relevant regulatory framework
- Strong network within the Lagos and Nigerian business community
Skills and Competencies:
- Outstanding negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English and local languages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software
- Ability to understand technical specifications and translate them into business solutions
