We are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our multi-level marketing efforts, mentor our sales force, and guide our distributors to meet and exceed sales expectations.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:


Strategic Distributor Development:

  • Design, implement, and optimize multi-level marketing strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.
  • Identify growth opportunities and innovative approaches for driving network expansion|


Team Leadership & Management:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor independent distributors to increase product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
  • Evaluate distributor performance, develop improvement plans, and foster an environment to promote best practices.


Sales & Performance Management:

  • Set and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, ensuring consistent achievement or surpassing of goals.
  • Analyze sales data to track trends, forecast demand, and identify areas for improvement.


Training & Development:

  • Develop and deliver training programs on product features, best practices, and team-building strategies.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous learning and growth among distributors.


Compliance & Ethics:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and industry standards.
  • Maintain transparent reporting structures and ethical practices throughout the distributor network.


Market Research & Collaboration:

  • Stay updated on market trends, competition, and customer insights to enhance sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Operations, Customer Service) to coordinate product launches and promotional campaigns.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years experience in direct-selling management, preferably within the consumer or B2B space. 
  • Proven track record in building and managing large sales networks.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Proficiency in Google Documents/Sheets, Microsoft Office Suite and CRM Software.
  • In-depth understanding of the local market in Lagos and the broader Nigerian consumer landscape.
  • Experience in network marketing would be a plus
