We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join our team and drive growth in both the power and renewable energy markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Client Acquisition:
- Develop and execute sales strategies for transformers, energy meters, and renewable energy solutions.
- Proactively identify and engage with potential clients, including utilities, renewable energy companies, industrial plants, EPC contractors, and electrical distributors.
- Drive customer acquisition through presentations, product demonstrations, and relationship building.
Technical Consultation:
- Provide expert advice on transformer selection, energy metering, and renewable energy system integration, ensuring products meet client requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to customize solutions, particularly for renewable energy projects.
Quotation & Negotiation:
- Prepare and submit sales proposals, quotations, and bids for transformers, energy meters, and renewable energy systems.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and delivery timelines to ensure profitability while maintaining client satisfaction.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to position the company’s offerings effectively in the market.
- Analyze competitor products and pricing to stay ahead of the competition.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and potential clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely support and technical assistance.
Reporting & Sales Forecasting:
- Track and report sales performance, market feedback, and pipeline activity.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and updates to the sales manager for business planning.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical qualifications in power systems, energy metering, or renewable energy technologies are a plus.
Experience:
- 2+ years of sales or business development experience in the electrical equipment, power, or renewable energy industries.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, particularly in power distribution and renewable energy sectors.
Technical Expertise:
- Knowledge of transformer technology, energy meters, and renewable energy systems (solar, wind, etc.).
- Ability to understand client technical needs and offer tailored solutions.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently to achieve sales targets.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
