- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities that align with the company’s growth strategy.
- Explore new markets, products, or services that could enhance the company’s revenue streams and competitiveness.
- Market Expansion:
- Develop strategies to penetrate new geographic or demographic markets, ensuring alignment with the company’s commercial objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competition, and opportunities for business expansion.
- Deal Negotiation & Contract Management:
- Lead negotiations for business deals, ensuring favorable terms and long-term value for the company.
- Manage the end-to-end process of deal structuring, contract creation, and agreement finalization, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
- Networking & Relationship Building:
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to increase the company’s visibility and build relationships with key industry players.
- Leverage existing networks to generate new leads and partnerships that align with the company’s growth strategy.
- Collaboration with Sales & Marketing Teams:
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure that new business development strategies are aligned with broader commercial goals.
- Coordinate with marketing to align promotional efforts with partnership and expansion initiatives.
- Revenue Growth & Performance Monitoring:
- Implement strategies that contribute directly to revenue growth through new partnerships and business opportunities.
- Monitor the performance of new business ventures and partnerships, providing feedback to senior leadership on progress and opportunities for improvement.
- Risk Management & Mitigation:
- Assess potential risks involved in entering new markets or establishing partnerships, implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Ensure that all new business opportunities are evaluated for their financial viability and potential risks.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Between 5-7 years of experience in business development, partnership management, or sales.
- Proven ability to identify and secure new business opportunities that drive revenue growth.
- Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to develop creative solutions to business challenges.
