We're looking for a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to help us grow organically through strategic outreach and client relationship management.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition:

  • Identify and connect with potential clients using LinkedIn, cold emails, and cold calls.
  • Target industries such as logistics, retail, healthcare, real estate, IT, finance, FMCG, and insurance.
  • Craft and deliver personalized pitches aligned with client needs.


Performance and Target Management:

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly performance-based targets tied to acquiring new clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
  • Regularly report on progress and results to ensure alignment with goals.
  • Achieve targets for client acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and ensure satisfaction.


Market Research and Strategy:

  • Stay updated on recruitment trends and target industry needs.
  • Devise strategies to penetrate high-potential markets effectively.


Organizational Tools:

  • Use Google Sheets to track leads, client interactions, and outreach efforts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities.


Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure successful client placements.
  • Share feedback and insights to enhance service quality.


Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the recruitment industry.
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn prospecting, cold emailing, and cold calling.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet performance-based targets.
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, and target-driven mindset.
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets or similar tools for tracking and reporting.
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, and organized.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.


Compensation Structure:

  • Remuneration: NGN 100,000.00
  • Performance-Based Bonuses: Bonuses are tied to the number of new clients acquired and maintaining strong relationships with old clients.
  • Quality Bonuses: Additional incentives for meeting or exceeding quality targets.
