Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage and maintain relationships with retail and institutional clients through a structured client engagement plan.
  • Expand market reach by building strong relationships with local industry contacts and identifying new customer segments.
  • Operate effectively in a target-driven environment with minimal supervision, showcasing initiative and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Stay informed about major currencies and commodity markets, including crude oil, precious metals, and agricultural products, to provide valuable insights and support decision-making.
  • Organize and lead meetings with potential and existing clients to increase trading volumes and establish long-term relationships.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive financial growth while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining meticulous transactional records enables efficient reconciliation and informed strategic planning.


Requirements:

  • A degree in Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, though other degrees with relevant work experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 3+ years in roles demonstrating expertise in business development or sales.
  • Specialized experience in Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) and Corporate banking relationship management.
  • Proven background as a relationship officer managing High-Net-Worth Individuals or a sales representative in a reputable foreign currency exchange institution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in at least one local language is an advantage.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • In-depth understanding of international markets and foreign exchange.
  • Exceptional sales and negotiation abilities.
