Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential clients, markets, and business opportunities aligned with Transco Africa’s mission and goals.
- Develop and nurture relationships with clients to understand their logistics needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Build partnerships with stakeholders across industries to enhance our multi-modal logistics offerings.
- Design and implement strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform business strategies.
- Work closely with operations, marketing, and other teams to ensure excellent service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Track and report on business development activities, sales performance, and market feedback.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4-5 years in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in logistics or transportation.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the logistics and transportation industry in Nigeria.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and innovative thinker.
