Job Summary

We are hiring for the position of a Business Development Executive in the oil and gas industry

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition:
  • Identify and attract new clients through direct contact, networking events, and collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in the Lekki-Ajah area.
  • Client Retention:
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and satisfaction.
  • Propose upgrades or additional products and services that may interest clients.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation:
  • Create business proposals and contracts to generate revenue.
  • Negotiate with clients to secure favorable terms.
  • Market Research:
  • Stay updated with market trends and consumption patterns in the Lekki-Ajah region.
  • Identify and research new business opportunities in the local market.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with senior team members to identify and manage company risks.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Sales Process Management:
  • Oversee the sales process to attract new clients.
  • Conduct outbound campaigns (phone calls, emails, etc.) to create sales opportunities.
  • Customer Service:
  • Ensure excellent customer service through regular follow-up.
  • Develop rapport with key decision-makers in the Lekki-Ajah area.
  • Training and Mentorship:
  • Equip staff with the necessary skills to enhance sales.
  • Provide regular training and mentorship to build capacity in the team.





Requirements:

  • Degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive sales experience.
  • Excellent networking, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to generate revenue by identifying client needs and suggesting suitable products or services.
  • Professional and approachable demeanor.
  • Resourceful with strong research skills.


Location: Must reside around the Lekki-Ajah axis to ensure proximity to clients and ease of travel.
