Job Summary

We’re looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Officer who can help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales/patronage of our service offerings.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Use online and social media marketing to maintain and expand the Company's customer base, grow our following and social media presence, and drive sales using traditional and nontraditional strategies, including social media
  • Oversee all company website and social media content including newsletters, blogs, articles, and social media posts
  • Learn about, and use, the right platforms to build and maintain a customer base and generate
  • Create and manage product launch strategies
  • Promote Company brand, including social media ads and sponsored posts
  • Establish messaging and branding standards
  • Develop and create content including emails, guest posting, and social media campaigns
  • Create compelling content for marketing materials, including websites, blogs, social media, and advertisements
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns to promote products or services.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends.
  • Manage digital marketing channels, including email marketing, social media, and search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with business goals
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for partnership and collaboration with other organizations
  • Stay updated on marketing trends, tools, and best practices to optimize marketing strategies
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets and expenditures
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on marketing performance and ROI
  • Foster a positive and engaging brand image through all marketing channels
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for differentiation
  • Test and optimize marketing tactics to improve performance and ROI
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
  • Secure new business using a variety of methods, such as cold calling, email, trade shows, and referrals
  • Achieve or exceed sales and revenue targets
  • Analyse customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company products and services
  • Meet with potential investors to present company offerings and negotiate business deals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date personal contact information on prospects and existing clients



Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a marketing or Business Development Officer or similar role
  • Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles
  • Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM)
  • Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Creative thinking, problem-solving abilities and commercial awareness
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented approach
  • BSc/BA in marketing, business administration or relevant field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing roles, with a focus on strategic planning and execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable outcomes.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and social media marketing best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop innovative marketing strategies.
  • Market research and analysis skills to identify target audiences and trends.
  • Proficiency in marketing strategies and tactics across various channels.
  • Data analysis abilities to measure campaign performance and ROI.
  • Creativity in developing innovative marketing campaigns and messaging.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving consumer behaviors and preferences.
