Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within the environmental consultancy sector, with a focus on clients in the oil and gas industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth areas.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals and revenue targets.
  • Create effective promotional materials, presentations, and proposals.
  • Participate in networking events, conferences, and industry exhibitions to enhance brand visibility and expand business connections.
  • Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and partnership agreements to secure new projects and partnerships.
  • Provide regular reports on business development activities, progress, and potential opportunities to the management team.


Requirements:

  • Minimum academic qualification of HND/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in business development, preferably within the environmental industry or oil and gas sector.
  • Strong understanding of the environmental consultancy landscape and relevant regulations.
  • Proven track record of successfully closing deals and meeting sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven.
