We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Business Development Officer entry role to join our team. In this

entry-level role, you will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, building

relationships, and driving growth for our e-commerce and physical market presence. This is an exciting

opportunity to contribute to the expansion of a thriving produce marketplace.


Key Responsibilities

● Identify and develop new business opportunities in both online and offline produce markets.

● Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners.

● Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.

● Creating and implementing business development strategies to increase sales and market share.

● Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop promotional campaigns and sales

initiatives.

● Support the onboarding process for new vendors and ensure seamless integration into the

marketplace.

● Monitor and report on performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for

improvement.

● Participate in networking events, trade shows, and other promotional activities to enhance the

company's visibility.

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

● Enthusiastic and motivated with a passion for the produce industry.

● Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing.

● Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

● Prior experience or internships in sales, marketing, or business development is a plus
