We are seeking a proactive and motivated Lead Generation Specialist/ business development representative to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential buyers and sellers of agricultural commodities through various channels, including online platforms, trade shows, and industry networks.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for lead generation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in the agricultural sector, including farmers, exporters, importers, and distributors.
- Conduct outreach efforts via phone, email, and social media to engage potential leads and qualify them for further business development.
- Maintain accurate leads, communications, and follow-up records in a CRM sheet.
- Provide regular reports on lead generation activities, successes, and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
- Proven experience in lead generation, sales, and business development.
- A good understanding of agricultural commodities and export markets will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant lead generation platforms/ tools/marketplaces.
- Ability to work independently without supervision and still produce great results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed for networking and business development
