Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s client base.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and potential business partners.
- Generate leads through various channels, including networking, outbound calls, emails, and social media engagement.
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings or product demonstrations for senior sales representatives.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to execute business development strategies.
- Manage and update the CRM system to track leads, sales progress, and client interactions.
- Deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of market developments.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or lead generation, preferably within the geospatial or technology sector.
- Demonstrated success in identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software for tracking and managing sales activities.
- Strong analytical abilities with experience in data analysis and performance metrics.
- Familiarity with lead-generation tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo) is a plus.
- Ability to develop and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
