Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Executive who thrives in high-performance environments and can lead our business development efforts with precision and confidence. This is not an entry-level sales role. The ideal candidate is a seasoned deal-closer who understands how to take prospects from cold outreach to signed agreement and repeat business. You will be responsible for securing strategic partnerships, closing sponsorship deals, and selling our offerings to institutions, corporations, and high-impact clients. You’ll work closely with the leadership team to develop growth strategies, represent the brand with excellence, and play a hands-on role in expanding QurateHQ’s footprint across markets.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Sales Execution & Deal Closure
- Own and lead the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, needs assessment, proposal, negotiation, and closing.
- Hit or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets through aggressive outreach and structured follow-ups.
- Convert leads into long-term paying clients across our key offerings (training programs, mentorship packages, enterprise partnerships).
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales pitches, tailored presentations, and proposals to decision-makers.
- Leverage data and CRM tools to track pipeline, forecast deals, and report progress.
Partnership Development & Strategic Growth
- Identify, engage, and secure strategic partnerships with corporate organizations, NGOs, educational institutions, and government agencies.
- Develop sponsorship packages and pitch decks to attract funders and enterprise clients.
- Foster long-term, value-driven relationships with partners and stakeholders.
Marketing & Alignment with Growth Initiatives
- Collaborate with the marketing team to craft campaigns that drive high-quality leads.
- Ensure that customer insights from sales conversations feed back into product development and marketing messaging.
- Represent the company at networking events, demos, and pitch sessions.
- Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and deal progress using CRM tools.
- Track and report key performance metrics, including deal volume, conversion rate, and revenue closed.
- Participate in strategic sessions to refine the sales playbook, pricing strategy, and customer segmentation.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of closing B2B and/or B2C deals (minimum 3 years in a similar role).
- Exceptional communication and persuasion skills—able to move a deal forward and ask for the close.
- Strong experience creating and delivering tailored proposals and client presentations.
- Confident in outreach (cold calls/emails), discovery calls, objection handling, and contract negotiations.
- Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and digital sales workflows.
- Experience selling to enterprise clients, NGOs, government institutions, or educational bodies is a major advantage.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, target-driven environment.
Additional Skills:
- Experience in edtech, consulting, or skill-based training organizations.
- Exposure to fundraising or partnership development.
- Familiarity with Nigerian and Sub-Saharan Africa business and funding ecosystems.
