The Sales Head will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth for the ice cream business. This role involves managing the sales team, establishing strong relationships with distributors and retailers, and identifying opportunities to expand market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, preferably in the food and beverage industry, and a passion for ice cream.


Key Responsibilities


1. *Strategic Planning*:

- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.

- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities.


2. *Team Management*:

- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.

- Conduct regular training and performance evaluations for team members.


3. *Market Development*:

- Identify potential customers and build relationships with key accounts, including retailers, grocery chains, and food service distributors.

- Explore and establish partnerships with local businesses and events to promote the ice cream brand.


4. *Sales Forecasting & Reporting*:

- Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for senior management.

- Adjust sales strategies based on performance metrics and market feedback.


5. *Product Knowledge*:

- Maintain a deep understanding of the ice cream products, including flavors, ingredients, and production processes.

- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.


6. *Promotional Activities*:

- Plan and execute promotional campaigns and events to increase brand awareness and drive sales.

- Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective sales materials and promotional content.


7. *Customer Service*:

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and support.

- Address customer concerns and feedback to improve product offerings and sales approaches.


8. *Budget Management*:

- Manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize profitability.

- Analyze financial data to make informed business decisions.


9. *Networking*:

- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to build a network and represent the company.


Qualifications


- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the Ice Cream and beverage sector.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
