We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Beauty Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our beauty business, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, seamless staff coordination, and efficient management of all departments. The ideal candidate will be passionate about beauty and wellness, demonstrate strong leadership, and drive the growth of our brand.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:
Operations Oversight:

  • Supervise daily operations across all existing and future departments (retail, production, hair salon, makeup studio, nail salon, lash & brow bar, spa and more).
  • Ensure the space is clean, organized, and running efficiently.
  • Monitor stock levels of beauty products and coordinate reorders.
  • Ensure timely ordering of stock to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Negotiate with vendors for cost-effective purchasing.

Team Management:

  • Oversee and manage the performance of staff, including stylists, technicians, and assistants.
  • Organize staff schedules to optimize coverage and reduce downtime.
  • Mentor team members and ensure consistent adherence to service standards.

Customer Experience:

  • Act as the point of contact for client complaints, inquiries, and special requests.
  • Ensure customers receive exceptional service and maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
  • Monitor and enhance the customer journey at every touchpoint.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall client experience.

Business Development:
  • Develop and implement strategies to boost revenue and customer retention.
  • Create and oversee promotional activities and seasonal campaigns to drive client engagement.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide regular performance reports to the business owner.
  • Collate important industry dates and ensure we have representation at all key events.
  • Coordinate social media and advertising efforts to increase visibility.
  • Analyze industry trends and client feedback to inform business strategies.
  • Develop long-term plans to expand the business's services and client base.
  • Foster relationships with clients to build loyalty and referrals.


Staff Training and Compliance:

  • Coordinate staff training sessions to improve skills and introduce new services.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor employee adherence to company policies and protocols.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and address concerns.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to maintain high levels of performance.

Financial Oversight:

  • Manage budgets, including petty cash, and ensure cost-effective operations. Monitor expenses and control costs.
  • Track sales and service targets, identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts where necessary.Prepare financial reports and present them to stakeholders or owners.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability without compromising quality.

Sales and Revenue Management:
  • Monitor company sales and ensure revenue targets are met or exceeded.
  • Promote services, treatments, and products to boost sales.
  • Develop marketing campaigns and partnerships to attract and retain clients.

Brand Representation and Marketing:
  • Uphold the company's brand image and reputation through consistent service standards.
  • Organize promotional events and special offers to drive client engagement.
  • Coordinate social media and advertising efforts to increase visibility.

Strategic Planning and Growth:

  • Analyze industry trends and client feedback to inform business strategies.
  • Foster relationships with clients to build loyalty and referrals.
  • Develop long-term plans to expand the company's services and client base.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a management role, preferably in the beauty or hospitality industry
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and salon management software.
  • Passion for the beauty and wellness industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
