Binal Technologies Limited specializes in selling educational software solutions to stakeholders in the educational sector, while also providing software development services for various industries, including website development and branding. We are seeking a highly skilled Business Manager to help us grow our business across multiple markets. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, negotiating deals, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should be comfortable interacting with clients through various channels, such as face-to-face meetings, email, and phone calls. They should be strategic, reliable, and capable of driving our business goals and ensuring sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to present, promote, and sell the company’s products/services to potential clients, including schools, proprietors, and stakeholders across various sectors.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and convert leads into customers.
- Emphasize product features to demonstrate how they solve customer needs and provide value.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company’s products/services to better serve clients.
- Achieve agreed-upon business targets within set timeframes.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to align business strategies and goals.
- Provide regular feedback and insights to the sales and marketing teams.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to nurture relationships.
- Attend team meetings and business events to stay aligned with organizational goals.
Key Deliverables
- Lead generation, conversion, and relationship management in Nigeria.
- Development and implementation of strategies to drive the organization’s growth through business development efforts within the Nigerian market.
Requirements and Skills
- Proven experience as a business manager, sales representative, or marketer in the education sector within Nigeria.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with CRM practices and the ability to build productive professional relationships.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
- Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret sales metrics and data.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs, following the BT Customer Guidelines Checklist (CGC).
- Problem-solving skills to address client challenges and internal issues.
- Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic work environment.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding business targets.
- Knowledge of market research and competitor analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Must be currently based in Nigeria and have a strong understanding of the local market.
