Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
C++ Development:
- Design, implement, and optimize complex systems and applications using C++.
- Develop high-performance, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Collaborate with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver software solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in both the development and production environments.
- Write efficient and reusable code with strong focus on code quality and performance.
- Contribute to software design, architecture, and code reviews.
Quality Assurance (QA):
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for unit testing, integration testing, and system testing.
- Conduct manual and automated testing to identify software defects and ensure functionality.
- Define and implement QA strategies, processes, and standards across the software lifecycle.
- Design, create, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for C++ applications.
- Perform regression, performance, load, and stress testing to ensure the software meets required standards.
- Work closely with developers to resolve bugs and track issues using bug-tracking tools.
- Ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes are adhered to for both development and QA activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience
- Degree in a related field
- CI/CD tools and practices (e.g. GitLab GitHub Actions)
- Strong knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g. Google Test, CppUnit, Catch2).
- Proficiency in C++ (C++11/14/17/20)
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium JUnit or other custom test harnesses).
- Experience in bug tracking and test management tools (e.g. Jira TestRail Bugzilla).
- Knowledge of cloud services or distributed systems (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of C#, Java or JavaScript.
