Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process cash, card, and digital payments using the POS system while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Provide efficient customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and answering inquiries.
- Process orders, issue receipts, and handle refunds or discounts as required.
- Maintain accurate cash counts at the start and end of shifts, ensuring that the cash drawer is balanced.
- Compile end-of-shift sales reports and communicate any discrepancies to the manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Support other team members during busy periods by assisting with orders and serving as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous cashier or customer service experience, ideally in a restaurant or bar setting.
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with restaurant POS systems (preferred).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to handle high-volume transactions with efficiency and accuracy.
