Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Process all cash transactions, including cash receipts, disbursements, deposits, and petty cash.
- Maintain accurate records of all cash transactions and reconcile cash balances on a daily basis.
- Monitor and maintain cash flow, ensuring that adequate funds are available to meet daily operational requirements
- Compile and generate invoices for customers and clients, ensuring accuracy in billing amounts and adherence to payment terms.
- Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues, communicating with clients as necessary.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances and delinquent accounts, taking action as necessary to ensure prompt payment.
- Assist with preparing monthly financial reports, including cash flow statements and accounts receivable reports
- Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and other vendors, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, with demonstrable experience in cash handling and billing activities.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as financial management tools and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong ethics, integrity, and professionalism at all times
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with care.
