Position Overview: ParagonFi is a fintech startup dedicated to revolutionizing the stock trading experience for emerging and seasoned investors alike. We’re seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. This key leadership role offers a unique opportunity for someone to help build ParagonFi from the ground up, shaping financial strategies that will guide our success and growth. Ideally, the candidate will have experience working with a stockbroking firm, bringing valuable insights into brokerage operations, compliance, and industry nuances that align with our mission. Remuneration for this role includes an equity stake in the company, providing an entrepreneurial opportunity for the ideal candidate to grow with ParagonFi. Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy & Planning: Lead all financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support ParagonFi’s growth and mission.
• Capital & Fundraising Management: Drive efforts to secure funding, develop investor relations strategies, and manage capital allocation.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial, legal, and regulatory standards, including KYC and AML requirements.
• Partnership & Vendor Management: Collaborate with our sponsoring broker and other external partners, ensuring operational and regulatory alignment.
• Team Leadership: Build and mentor a finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA, ICAN,ACA or CFA preferred).
• Candidates with other degrees can be considered but must be proficient in finance.
• 5+ years of financial management experience, ideally in fintech or financial services.
• Proven experience in capital raising, compliance, and strategic financial planning.
• Leadership skills with a commitment to fostering an inclusive, high-performance team.
