OVERVIEW


The Chief Growth Officer (CGO) is a visionary executive who reports directly to the Managing Director. Tasked with steering Sales and growth across our service and product offerings, managing project sales for CED Africa, the CGO will drive growth across five core sectors—Retail, Houses of Worship, Hospitality, Partner Sales, and Entertainment—while leading integrated offline and online marketing initiatives. This role is built on a foundation of a strong, customer-focused culture with an unwavering commitment to detail, operational excellence, and innovative leadership.

Key Responsibilities


Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies that align with our company vision.
  • Identify new market opportunities and revenue streams while refining existing initiatives.
  • Integrate offline and online marketing efforts to enhance brand presence and drive sales.


Business Management & Sales :

  • Oversee the delivery of sales targets for

Retail sales business (Sound House)

Av consulting engineering and Av design ( CED Africa) and

Project sales for (Spectra AVL), ensuring profitability across the six target sectors.

  • Streamline operational processes to maximize efficiency, reduce redundancies, and achieve set targets.
  • Leverage digital transformation initiatives to improve customer engagement and operational agility.


Leadership & Team Development:

  • Build, mentor, and empower a high-performing growth team while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, finance) to ensure aligned execution of business strategies.
  • Encourage decision-making autonomy among team members, driving rapid responses to market changes.


Market & Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct detailed market analysis and competitive research to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators, such as % increase in revenue year-over-year or securing a minimum of X major client partnerships annually.
  • Provide actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to the Managing Director and the board.


Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Represent the organization in high-stakes negotiations and strategic discussions.
  • Present regular performance reports

Skills and Credentials
