Job Summary

Harbour Human Capital Solutions (HHCS) Limited on behalf of its client, one of the leading Technology Solutions Companies in Nigeria is currently recruiting to fill the position of Chief Marketing Officer based in Lagos. The successful candidate will be expected to hold frequent meetings and network with existing and potential clients. The CMO reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Bonus structure is based on individual and departmental performance.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Set business development goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the overall growth of the company.
  • Review and manage content marketing strategy.
  •  Determine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the marketing department.
  •  Keep the marketing budget in check.
  • Track KPIs on a regular basis and present reports.
  • Create and present the annual marketing plan and strategy.
  • Use data and reports to make evidence-based decisions.
  • Analyse the company's marketing strategy and suggest improvements.


Requirements:

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or Engineering would be preferred & a post-graduate in Marketing, Management or a similar relevant field will be an advantage.
  • Previous working experience as a Senior Business Development Officer for [5-10 years].
  • Experience in developing and implementing business development strategies
  • Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing 
  • Flexibility and ability to work with limited supervision.
  • An initiative-taker with an eye for details
  • Strong teamwork mindset, and ability to collaborate seamlessly with staff across the Company.
  • Creativity

  • Competency in strategic planning and business development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong quantitative analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Excellent Organisational and time management skills
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
