Job Summary

We are a new Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) committed to providing high-quality, affordable healthcare services to Nigerians. We are building a strong network of healthcare providers and developing innovative programs to meet the needs of our participants. The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will oversee the medical operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services. The CMO will provide clinical leadership, manage medical staff, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

  • Minimum Qualification : MBA / MSc
  • Experience Level : Senior level
  • Experience Length : 10 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of healthcare services to ensure high quality and patient safety.
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to medical staff.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Lead initiatives to improve patient outcomes and clinical efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Represent the organization in medical and professional forums.
  • Coordinate activities with the health facilities
  • Oversee onboarding of healthcare providers and maintain a cordial business relationship with our network of healthcare providers both locally and internationally
  • Negotiating healthcare services tariff with healthcare providers to provide qualitative cost-effective management of enrolees
  • Ensure quality assurance in the delivery of healthcare at various partner healthcare facilities while eliminating delays in accessing care
  • Oversees the carrying out of other miscellaneous services such as health talks, annual medical screening, and pre-employment tests


Requirements:

  • Post Graduate qualification in Public Health, Health Management, health financing, or related fields
  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification in a relevant specialty.
  • Minimum of 10 years of clinical experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Experience in healthcare management and administration.

  • Excellent clinical and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in healthcare management software.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.


Remuneration: NGN12,000,000- 13,000,000 Gross Yearly
