We are supporting the search for a not-for-profit organization in Lagos in their search for a Chief Operating Officer.
This is a pivotal role in collaborating closely with the CEO and various departments. The focus will be on ensuring efficient, effective, and sustainable operations aligned with the organization's mission and goals. Key Responsibilities include
Operational Management - Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with relevant regulations. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements as needed.
Team Management - Lead and manage cross-functional teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members.
Financial Oversight - Work closely with the finance department to develop and manage budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability. - Analyze financial reports and provide recommendations for cost-effective operations.
Strategic Partnerships - Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and collaborators. - Identify and pursue opportunities for strategic partnerships aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
Brand Communication and Operations Management - Design, implement, and communicate strategies for operational management and project development to meet organizational goals within budgets and timelines. - Establish and maintain appropriate systems and processes for measuring impact and produce regular reports of impacts
