Job Summary

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Netconstruct Limited will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring operational efficiency, financial performance, and customer satisfaction. The COO will collaborate closely with the CEO and executive team to implement strategic initiatives, drive project execution, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve corporate goals. This role requires a strong background in real estate development, project management, and leadership to deliver high-quality projects that align with Netconstruct’s vision and values.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and execute operational strategies that align with the company’s growth goals and market expansion plans.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and review of operational policies, procedures, and systems to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability.
  • Drive continuous improvement across operations, ensuring all projects and processes adhere to best practices and industry standards.
  • Ensure that the construction and marketing targets of the organization are met monthly, quarterly, and annually.


Project Management and Delivery:

  • Lead project planning, budgeting, and scheduling to ensure that all real estate development projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Monitor and control project quality, progress, and risk factors, providing solutions to any issues that may arise to prevent delays and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Liaise with construction, engineering, and procurement teams to streamline project workflow and maximize resource utilization.


Financial Management and Performance Optimization:

  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets, monitor financial performance, and maintain cost control across all operations.
  • Analyze operational expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement effective financial management strategies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting on operational metrics, project costs, and financial performance to the CEO and board of directors.


Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate operations and project management teams to foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Support talent acquisition, performance evaluations, and career development for key team members to strengthen the company’s operational capabilities.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration and communication to improve workflow efficiency and innovation across departments.


Stakeholder and Client Relations:

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and key stakeholders, addressing their needs and providing updates on project progress.
  • Engage with external partners, including suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure all projects meet legal, regulatory, and quality standards.
  • Represent Netconstruct in client meetings, public events, and industry forums to build the company’s reputation and visibility in the market.


Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, including project delays, regulatory compliance, and safety hazards, to ensure smooth execution.
  • Implement and enforce safety and environmental standards on all sites, ensuring that all projects adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and monitor risk management protocols to minimize liability and protect company assets.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Architecture, Construction Management or a related field; MBA or Master’s in a relevant discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations or project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the real estate or construction industry.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale real estate projects, budgets, and teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of real estate development, construction management, project finance, and quality assurance.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and maintain a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, with a focus on technology-driven operations.
