Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operational functions of the company, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage project teams to ensure timely and quality completion of all construction projects.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Monitor project progress, resource allocation, and budgets to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the executive team to create and implement strategic plans.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Analyze operational data and trends, providing actionable insights to improve business performance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A MSc is an added advantage.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects and teams. Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with project management software and other industry-related tools.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of budgeting, cost control, and resource management.
