Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee construction projects such as roads,bridges and buildings.
- Construct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate project viability.
- Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and the cost estimates.
- Collaborate with architects,contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present technical reports and projects documentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends regulations, and technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer(PE) license preferred or in progress.
- Proven experience in Civil engineering design and project management
- Proficiency in engineering software(eg.Autocad,Civil 3D,Revit)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Additional skills:
- Experience with specific infrastructure projects(eg Transportation, water resources)
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and environmental regulations.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
