Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all construction activities to meet project goals.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and other teams to allocate resources and maintain schedules.
• Lead and guide workgroups, ensuring the efficient use of manpower and materials.
• Inspect work-in-progress to ensure compliance with specifications, industry codes, and safety standards.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve construction challenges effectively.
• Advise on procurement and scheduling of tools and materials to align with project timelines.
• Monitor and report on project performance, recommending corrective actions as needed.
• Review progress with the engineering team and subcontractors to ensure quality and performance goals are met.
• Uphold the highest standards of safety throughout the project duration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of post-NYSC experience in the building construction industry.
• COREN certification is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and achieve project objectives.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and take accountability for deliverables.
