Cleaner(Ikoyi)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized salon environment, ensuring the company is neat at all times.
• Clean surfaces, mirrors and windows daily, presenting a polished and welcoming atmosphere for clients.
• Manage laundry duties, particularly the washing and folding of salon towels.
• Perform daily tasks, including sweeping, emptying trash cans, and mopping the floor to maintain cleanliness.
• Report any safety hazards or concerns promptly to the Salon Manager, prioritizing the well-being of staff and clients.
• Adhere to a professional, clean, and tidy appearance at all times, reflecting the high standards of the salon.
• Replenish salon supplies and amenities as needed, ensuring a well-stocked and comfortable environment for clients.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down workstations for salon professionals, fostering efficiency and collaboration.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a supportive team environment, enhancing the overall salon experience.
• Perform any other relevant duties and responsibilities as required, adapting to the evolving needs of the salon and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in housekeeping.

Requirements:

• 1 year experience
• Minimum of SSCE
• Proficient in the use of cleaning equipment tools and supplies
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and methods for a variety of surfaces and materials
• Understanding of industrial laundry procedures including washing drying and folding
• Ability to read and follow detailed cleaning checklists and instructions
• Familiarity with the safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and products
• Basic maintenance skills for minor repairs and upkeep of cleaning equipment
