Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting processes for existing and new clients
• Manage and update client financial data on their designated software
• Prepare comprehensive management accounting reports and present to clients
• Analyze financial information and make strategic recommendations to clients
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve financial efficiency and profitability
• Provide technical accounting/bookkeeping/tax support and advice to clients
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Lead the setup and maintenance of financial standards, systems, and processes for clients
• Provide input into the company’s goal-setting process
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
• Facilitate internal tax audits and manage remittance and filing of tax returns
• Advise on internal and external audits to ensure compliance
• Provide financial management advisory to clients
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory bodies
• Constantly work to improve financial procedures.

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in an accounting role
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and principles
• Awareness of business trends
• Analytical prowess
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements and report writing abilities
• Hands-on experiences with accounting software packages, like Sage and QuickBooks
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
