Clinical Registered Nurse

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health conditions, develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patients' conditions, record observations, and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care measures.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment used in patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in the hospital's electronic health record system.
• Assist with or perform diagnostic tests and analyze results.
• Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies, providing immediate care as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid registration and license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
• Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Strong clinical skills and up-to-date knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and basic computer skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move patients as required.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred.
