Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Coding Volunteer at Edpassāre Academy and Tech School. The Coding Volunteer will be responsible for assisting in teaching children how to code, creating coding projects, and providing mentorship and guidance on coding concepts.
Qualifications
- Coding skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scratch
- Experience in teaching or mentoring children in coding
- Knowledge of coding concepts and best practices
- Ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner
- Passion for educating and empowering children through technology
- Experience in curriculum development is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities
