Job Description/Requirements
The Revenue and Commercial Analyst analyzes and reports on revenue, pricing compliance, and profitability. This role validates sales discounts, monitors marketing cost, and provides data-driven insights while implementing BI tools and dashboards to support decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze, and report on monthly revenue and naked margin.
- Ensure pricing compliance by comparing approved vs. actual prices.
- Conduct profitability appraisals by brand, customer, and SKU.
- Validate and monitor the approval of sales discounts and the application of sales promotions.
- Ensure accuracy in marketing accruals and provisions, providing insights on marketing spend by analyzing ATL/BTL costs by brand.
- Advise the marketing team on finance-related matters.
- Support management and department heads with data-driven analysis.
- Implement and maintain business intelligence tools and dashboard reporting.
Qualifications and Skills:
B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, Economics.
3–5 years in revenue/commercial analysis or finance.
Proficiency in Excel, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), financial modeling.
Strong communicator, detail-oriented, problem solver, able to manage multiple priorities.
