Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Build and nurture relationships with local community leaders, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Develop and implement community outreach programs to raise awareness about water conservation and project benefits.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and successful installation of water facilities.
- Monitor project progress, address community concerns, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for community inquiries and feedback.
- Create content for social media, newsletters, and other platforms to highlight community impact stories.
- Organize workshops and training sessions on water management and sustainability practices for community members.
- Prepare detailed reports on project outcomes, community impact, and feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of community engagement activities and stakeholder communications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Social Work, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in community management, outreach, or advocacy roles, preferably in the water or development sector.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience in the following industries is an added advantage NGO, FMCG, mining & Extractive Industries, Renewable Energy
- Experience in social media management and content creation is an advantage.
