Compliance Officer

Compliance Management:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's compliance programs to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Conduct regular audits, assessments, and inspections to identify potential compliance risks and ensure that corrective actions are implemented.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations that could impact the organization and update policies accordingly.
• Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required.

Quality Control:

• Oversee the quality control process, ensuring that products and services meet established standards and customer expectations.
• Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with production and operational teams to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
• Analyze quality control data and recommend improvements in processes, products, or services to enhance overall quality.

Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management:

• Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with environmental regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Promote a safety culture within the organization by conducting training, awareness programs, and safety drills.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of HSE incidents, near-misses, and corrective actions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with other departments (e.g., operations, production, human resources) to integrate compliance, quality, and HSE practices across the organization.
• Provide guidance and support to employees regarding compliance, quality, and safety matters.
• Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies, certification agencies, and external auditors.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify areas for improvement in compliance, quality control, and HSE processes.
• Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce risks, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in compliance, quality control, and HSE.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
• Certification in compliance (e.g., CCEP), Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001), and HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a compliance role, with hands-on experience in quality control and HSE management.
• Proven track record in implementing compliance programs, conducting audits, and managing quality and safety initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, quality management systems, and HSE standards.
