Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Computer Hardware Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer hardware, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance. As a Computer Hardware Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware issues, performing upgrades, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems for both internal and client use.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, and servers.
- Assemble and configure computer systems, ensuring all components are functioning properly.
- Perform hardware upgrades, such as installing new components (e.g., memory, storage devices, graphics cards) and optimizing system performance.
- Conduct regular maintenance on hardware systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new hardware systems, including peripheral devices such as printers, monitors, and external storage devices.
- Provide technical support to users by identifying hardware problems and resolving them in a timely manner.
- Keep accurate records of repairs, inventory, and hardware configurations.
- Perform testing and quality assurance to ensure systems are running efficiently after repairs or upgrades.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace, ensuring proper handling of equipment and tools.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest computer hardware trends and technologies to provide the best service to clients.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of proven experience as a Computer Hardware Technician or in a similar technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware components, including motherboards, processors, RAM, hard drives, and peripheral devices.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware issues.
- Experience with assembling and configuring computer systems and components.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and hardware-related software tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A relevant certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Cisco Certified Network Associate) is preferred but not required.
- A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in computer science or a related field is a plus.
