Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Supervise all stages of building construction projects from start to finish
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings
- Prepare and manage construction schedules and budgets
- Conduct site inspections and ensure work complies with engineering standards and building codes
- Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and site workers to ensure smooth execution
- Prepare progress reports and provide updates to management
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Recommend solutions to resolve construction issues or delays
Requirements:
- B.Sc. or HND in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 4-5 years proven experience in building construction
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
- Proficient in project management tools and construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
