The ideal candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of cardiovascular conditions in adult patients. As a consultant cardiologist, you will lead the delivery of cardiology services, supervise diagnostic procedures, and manage complex heart-related conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage patients with hypertension, heart failure, arrhythmias, ischemic heart disease, and other cardiovascular disorders.
- Interpret and supervise cardiac diagnostic tests
- Manage acute cardiac emergencies
- Collaborate with internal medicine physicians, radiologists, and other specialists for integrated patient care.
- Review and counsel patients on lifestyle modification, medication adherence, and long-term risk reduction.
- Provide preoperative cardiac clearance for non-cardiac surgeries.
- Contribute to quality improvement, morbidity/mortality reviews, and case discussions within the department.
Requirements:
- Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMC Internal Med – Cardiology Subspecialty) or West African College of Physicians (FWACP – Cardiology).
- Valid Annual Practicing License with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Minimum of 3 years post-fellowship experience in a cardiology-focused role.
- Member of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA)
Location: Warri, Delta State
Remuneration: NGN 1.7 Million Monthly
