We are on the lookout for an exceptional Content and Digital Media Manager to play a pivotal role in driving the digital presence and content strategy of TerraFirma. The role involves managing content creation, developing content strategies, overseeing projects, web content writing, and technical writing. It offers flexibility for some remote work while being predominantly located in Ibadan.

Position Type: Full-Time

Location: Hybrid (Remote + Scheduled On-Site Trips)

Reports To: CEO

Salary: ₦120,000 net/month

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Creation & Management:

• Develop, plan, and execute a content strategy across social media platforms, WordPress, and YouTube.
• Create and edit both technical (architectural journalism) and non-technical content that aligns with the company’s vision.

2. Team Leadership:

• Provide creative direction, team management and mentorship, fostering team spirit, creativity and accountability.
• Guide the team to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality output.

3. Strategic Planning & Innovation:

• Generate brilliant ideas for both technical and non-technical content, ensuring alignment with TerraFirma’s mission and goals.
• Analyze performance metrics and refine content strategies to improve audience engagement and reach.

4. SEO and Digital Optimization:

• Optimize content for SEO to enhance visibility, traffic, and engagement across digital platforms.
• Oversee the performance of WordPress sites and ensure smooth functionality.

5. Collaboration & Workflow Management:

• Collaborate with the wider org using collaborative work and project management tools like Slack, Trello, and Google Workspace to ensure seamless workflows.
• Work closely with stakeholders to develop content aligned with organizational goals.

6. Scheduled Trips:

• Participate in scheduled on-site trips for meetings, events, or content-related projects, ensuring in-person collaboration where necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, or a related field with a passion for Creative Design, and Envitonmental Design (Architecture and Construction), or vice-versa.
• 2+ years of experience in content creation, digital marketing, social media management or Architectural Journalism.
• Content Management and Project Management skills
• Content Strategy and Web Content Writing skills
• Excellent writing skills
• Experience in digital media management, digital marketing. Architectural Journalism is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Understanding of SEO and digital analytics
• Multi-tasking
