As the Content and Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a cohesive content strategy that aligns with the company’s goals. This includes managing social media accounts, creating engaging content, analyzing performance, and ensuring the brand voice is consistent across all digital platforms.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content and social media strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Create, curate, and manage high-quality content for social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), blogs, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Plan and execute monthly content calendars, including written, visual, and video content.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
  • Engage with followers, and respond to comments and messages in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Track and analyze the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools to optimize strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors’ activities to refine strategies.
  • Manage influencer collaborations, partnerships, and community engagement efforts.
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience in content creation and social media management (portfolio or links to past work).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
  • Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
  • Creativity and ability to think outside the box.
  • Experience in photography, graphic design, or video production is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media metrics.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Lagos (Remote)

Remuneration: NGN 400,000 - 500,000
